After a 3 month trial separation Mr Bunbury and I have decided it was a mistake and our reconciliation begins today.My friend Paul kindly offered to drive me to Braunston to collect the boat and even manned the 6 locks on the Brausnton flight to help me on my way. It did cost me breakfast but it was money well spent to fuel Paul for the task ahead.
Despite the miserable drizzly weather it felt great to be back afloat. I travelled only 5 miles and 6 locks to Norton Junction where I have moored for the night.
Tomorrow I plan to move on to Weedon Bec to meet Pete Billings who is travelling north on his boat.
